Letter Of Recommendation For Community Services

Is Culture?

Muslim Marriage Mass. 450 grooms marrying girls under ten years in Gaza.

Writing Muhammad married a six year old girl. But Islam has evolved over 1,500 years. In the land of Hamas, in 2009, almost seven girlfriends.

A gala event was developed in Gaza: Hamas sponsored

a mass wedding for four hundred fifty couples. Most grooms were in their mid to late twenties, the majority of brides were under ten years.

Muslim dignitaries, including Mahmoud Zahar, a Hamas leader were present to congratulate the couples who took part in the celebration, carefully assembled.

"We're telling the world and the United States can not deny us the joy and happiness," Zahar told the couple, all of whom were dressed in identical black suits and hailed from the nearby refugee camp Jabalia.

Hamas Each groom received a gift of $ 500.

The pre-pubescent girls, dressed in white and adorned with garish makeup, received bouquets.

"We present this wedding as a gift to our people who stood firm in face of the siege and war," he said in his speech, the Hamas strongman, Ibrahim Salaf.

The wedding photos tell the rest of the sordid tale.

International Center for Research on Women estimates that there are 51 million child brides living on planet earth and almost all Muslim countries.

29% of these child brides are regularly beaten and abused by their husbands in Egypt, 26% similar abuse in Jordan.

Each year, according to UNICEF, three million Muslim girls are subjected to genital mutilation. This practice has been outlawed in many parts of the United States.

The Islamic practice of pedophilia to the prophet Muhammad, who amassed eleven wives and many concubines, after the death of his first wife Khadijah, in 619

After Mohammed's elderly wife, Khadijah, died in 619, he accumulated eleven wives. Coordinated visits to the stores of women throughout their menstrual cycles. His capacity for sexual activity seemed to be boundless. Sahih Bukhari, one of the most revered Islamic texts, says: "The Prophet used to visit his wives in a round, day and night, and they were eleven. I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet had sexual stamina thirty men. " [1] Because, in the midst of these delicacies, the Prophet kept a stable of mistresses, including Reihana, his captive 'Jewish'. Their wives and mistresses were compelled by Islamic law to satisfy their sexual needs at any time of day or night, and the Prophet reserved the right to enjoy "from the top of their heads to the soles of his feet" . [2]

This might not appear shocking to students Kinsley Report, except in the case of Aisha, the wife Muhammad's favorite. Aisha was the daughter of Abu Bakr, the Prophet's closest friend and most faithful follower. As soon as Muhammad Aisha laid eyes on, began to fantasize about having sex with her. There was a problem with this fantasy. Aisha, then, was a small girl of four or five years, while Muhammad was a middle-aged man of fifty. [3]

And yet the Prophet wasted no time in making his fantasy a reality. When Aisha was six, Muhammad asked Abu Bakr for his daughter's hand in marriage. Abu Bakr thought that such a union would be improper - not because Aisha was just a small but rather because he believed Muhammad's brother. The Prophet quickly brushed aside the objection saying that the union was perfectly right in the eyes of Allah. Abu Bakr agreed. And Muhammad took the little girl as his new bride.

When they were married, Mohammed, in his mercy, allowed Aisha to take his toys, including your wrists, its new store [4]. The marriage was consummated when Aisha was nine, and the Prophet fifty-three [5]. The three year waiting period was not due to the concern of Muhammad not to abuse a child but rather the fact that Aisha contracted some disease which caused her hair loss [6].

Pedophilia was not only practiced by Muhammad, but also sanctioned by the Koran. In the debate over the waiting period required to determine if a wife is pregnant before the divorce, the sacred text says, "If you are in doubt concerning those of your wives who have ceased menstruating, know that your waiting period should be three months. The same shall apply to those who have not yet menstruated "(65:4). Those who think that modern Muslims have abandoned this teaching should study the pictures and videos that accompany this article and remember the words of Ayatollah Khomeini, the Islamic cleric's most famous 20 century: A man

can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate, sodomizing the child is fine. If a man penetrates and damages the child then you should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however, does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man has no right to marry the sister of the child ... is better for a girl to marry at a time they begin menstruation at her husband's house rather than in the house of his father. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven [7].

Light Period Two Days Before Period Due

Ep 52: Take all your experiences

Today's topic was inspired by an email sent to me by my friend Angelo.

Every situation that life presents us an opportunity to practice virtue. But before continue, what is virtue? To share a common definition, as always I turned to my friend Wikipedia. The definition of virtue that we propose is: "Virtue is that inner strength that allows man to make and carry out the right decisions in the most adverse turn in his favor, the virtuoso is one that is on track to be wise, because he knows how to reach your goals without stepping on the others, because it puts others on their side and takes them to reach a common goal. A virtue is a positive attribute of a being, person or thing by exposing the advantages of that qualifying body. It is also one of the most important tools for success. The opposite of virtue is vice. "

Well, every culture values different strengths and I do not mean to say here which virtues are better than others, much less what I want is to help you be sure or certain that you unclear what values or virtues that are important to you. Why is it important to be clear? Well, because many times to make decisions in your life, be clear what are the virtues and values that are most important to you, you can make that decision a lot easier, just make sure you are in alignment with your values and virtues.

In an earlier episode (the exact episode 31) talked how important it was to define your values before you set goals, and that it was advisable not to choose more than 10 values and also regularly review, 2 or 3 times a year, because ... hey, we all change and our priorities change as well, so it is normal that our values vary according to our own personal changes. But knowing what your strengths and values is only the first step. We need to practice. Practicing virtue may seem difficult, but life always gives us opportunities to practice ahead. Every situation that life presents us an opportunity to practice virtue.

Difficult situations require us to implement domestic resources, and also reveal weaknesses that we may never detected. If we do not detect our weaknesses, we could work on them badly, to turn them into strengths, therefore, to find these weaknesses through difficult situations, but at the time might seem a bad thing, or certainly uncomfortable, is actually a gift, the gift to bring to our consciousness, our attention, we have this opportunity to improve.

If we find a verbally abusive person, then we need to exercise patience. Clearly reacting the same way that this person is acting, not going to take us very far, although it may reflecting our behavior, our reaction "normal" learned, we have the option to choose how we react, and in this case, if we can identify the opportunity to exercise patience and restraint in this situation, we will have taken advantage of a bad situation.

If we find an injured person, compassion and empathy is what it takes to receive it and give you what you need at that time. Even if we find a very attractive person, you may need self-control and temperance. If something goes wrong or does not go as expected, can be an opportunity to exercise self-control, acceptance, patience.

Every day every moment, every experience is an opportunity to improve and reflect on how we grow and develop, and an opportunity to discover things about ourselves we did not know: what frustrates us, what makes us happy, what attracts us, what is repellent, what are our strengths and what we need to strengthen, what we are good and which need improvement.

Sometimes human beings tend to avoid the experiences, emotions, perhaps by a protective instinct avoid exposing them to situations where you might need an emotion that we feel comfortable, or have not ever experienced. Or situations where there is a risk that we get hurt, but it is also possible that we get a lot of happiness, often prefer not to risk it, for fear of emotion that is unfamiliar, or simply do not like. That's happened to you? Not wanting to start a new friendship or romantic relationship for fear of it and not get hurt? He did not want to try a new business for fear that even if it would fail, would be the job of your dreams? How often have you limited in your daily life experiences for fear that things do not go the way you expect?

The key is to stop a second and listen to your intuition. Let your body give you the answer, not your mind. Quiet your mind and focus your attention on your body, your stomach, your heart. What do they say? Your body, your inner wisdom, knows what is best for you, even when your mind is Teresita. The good news is that the more you use your inner wisdom is stronger, so to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Now I am going, you have a super good week, take advantage of all your experiences, a hug and a nice trip!

Ep 51 4) The Law of Least Effort

Today we continue with the fourth of the 7 Spiritual Laws Success, according to the book of the same name written by Deepak Chopra. We saw the 1) Pure Potentiality, 2) Giving and Receiving and 3) Karma. In this episode we review the fourth, which is the Law of Least Effort.

This law is based on the fact that nature's intelligence functions with ease, without effort, is the principle of least action, of no resistance. It is the principle of harmony and love. When we learn this lesson from nature, we can easily satisfy our desires.

If you look at how nature works, you will notice that you use the least possible effort. The grass is not growing, just grows. Fish do not try to swim, just swim. Flowers do not try to flourish, bloom. Birds do not try to fly, fly. This is their intrinsic nature. The earth is not rotating on its axis, is the nature of the earth rotate and move through space. It is the nature of babies to live in bliss. It is the nature of the sun shine. It is the nature of the stars sparkle and shine. It is human nature to make our dreams manifest into physical form, easily and effortlessly.

In Vedic science, the philosophy of ancient India, this principle is known as the principle of economy of effort, or "do less and accomplish more." Finally you reach the state where you do nothing and accomplish everything. This means that there is only a faint idea, and then the physical manifestation of the idea arrives without effort. What is commonly taken for a "miracle" is actually the expression of the Law of Least Effort.

nature's intelligence functions effortlessly, without friction, spontaneously. Is nonlinear, intuitive, holistic, and nutriente.y when you are in harmony with nature, you can use the Law of Least Effort.

The minimum effort is expended when your actions are motivated by love, because nature is sustained by the power of love. When you seek power and control over other people, you waste energy. When you seek money or power to satisfy your ego, you're wasting energy in pursuit of the illusion of happiness instead of enjoying happiness in the moment. When looking for money only for your personal gain, cut off the flow of energy into yourself, and interfere with the expression of the understanding of nature. When your actions are motivated by love, your energy multiplies and accumulates - and this excess energy generated can be channeled to create anything you want, including unlimited wealth.

you think of your physical body as a device for controlling power: it can generate, store and expend energy. If you learn to do this in a efficiently, then you can create any amount of wealth. Attention to the ego consumes the greatest amount of energy. When your internal reference point is the ego, when you seek power and control over other people or seek approval from others, you're wasting your energy.

When this energy is released, can be recanalized and used to create anything you want. When your internal reference point is your spirit when you are immune to criticism and not afraid of any challenge, you can harness the power of love and creative energy used to create an experience of abundance and evolution.

In The Art of Dreaming, Don Juan tells Castaneda Caros, "... Most of our energy is spent on defending our importance ... if we were able to lose some of that importance, two extraordinary things we would: one, we would free our energy from trying to maintain the illusion of our greatness, and two we ourselves would provide enough energy to catch a glimpse of the true greatness of the universe. "

The Law of Least Effort has three components - three things you can do to put into action the principle of" do less and accomplish more. " The first component is acceptance, which simply means that you make a commitment: "Today I will accept the people, situations, circumstances and events as they happen. " This means that I know that this moment is as it should be, because the entire universe is as it should be. This moment - you are living now, right this moment - is the culmination of all the moments you've experienced in the past. This moment is as it is because the entire universe is as it is.

When you struggle against this moment, they actually fighting against the entire universe. Instead, you can make the decision today not going to fight against the universe fighting this time. This means that your acceptance of this moment is total and complete. You accept things as they are, not as you want them to be in this time. It is important to understand this well. You may want things to be different in the future, but right now you have to accept things as they are.

@ When you are frustrated by a person or situation, remember that you are not reacting to the person or situation, but your feelings toward the person or situation. These are your feelings, and therefore are not the fault or responsibility. " When you recognize and understand that completely, you ready to take responsibility for how you feel and change. And if you can accept things coo are you ready to take responsibility for your situation all the events you see as problems.

This brings us to the second component Law of Least Effort: responsibility. What does this mean? Do not blame anyone or anything for your situation, including yourself @. Having accepted this circumstance, this event, this issue, accountability means the ability to respond creatively to the situation as it is now. Every problem contains the seeds of opportunity, and this awareness makes you take the time and transform into a better situation or thing.

Once you do this, consider each situation that bothers you become an opportunity to create something new and beautiful, each tormentor or tyrant will become your teacher. The reality is an interpretation, and if you choose to interpret the reality in this way, you will have many maestrosa around and many opportunities to evolve.

Whenever you are confronted with a tyrant, torture, teacher, friend or foe (they all mean the same) said, "This moment is as it should be." Any relationship you have attracted into your life right now is just what you need in your life right now. There is a hidden meaning behind every event, and this is serving your own evolution.

The third component of the Law of Least Effort is vulnerability, which means that your awareness is established in vulnerability, and you've given up the need to convince or persuade others to your point of view. If you look people around you, you'll spend 90% of their time defending their points of view. If you just give up the need to defend your own, you will gain access to huge amounts of energy that would otherwise be lost.

When you become defensive, blame others and not agree or when you surrender, your life meets resistance. Each time you encounter resistance, recognize that if the situation forces the resistance will only increase. Do not want to be rigid like a tall oak that cracks and collapses in the storm. On the contrary, want to be flexible, as the reeds that bend in the storm and survive.

desist completely defend your point view. When you have a point of view to defend, do not allow a discussion arises. If you do this consistently - if you stop fighting and resisting - you will experience completely in l this, which is a gift. Somebody once said, "The past is history, the future is a mystery, and this moment is a gift. That is why this moment is called 'this'. "

If you accept this and you become one with him, and you merge with it, you will experience a fire, a glow, a glow of ecstasy by clicking on each creature. When you begin to experience the exhilaration of spirit in all living things, the joy will be born within you, and you will be stripped of the terrible burdens of being defensive, resentment and pain. Only then you will become happy, carefree @, happy and free. This freedom

simple and cheerful, you know without any doubt in your heart that what you want is available to you at any time you want, because your wish is from the level of happiness, not the level of anxiety and fear. No need to justify it, simply declare your intention and you will experience satisfaction, joy, happiness, freedom, and autonomy in every moment of your life.

Make a commitment to follow the path of no resistance, which is the path through which nature's intelligence unfolds spontaneously, without friction or effort. When you get this exquisite combination of acceptance, responsibility and vulnerability, you will experience life flow easily and effortlessly.

@ When you remain open to all points of view - not rigidly adhiriéndote to only one - your dreams and desires will flow with nature. Then you can release your intentions, without attachment, and simply wait for the right to make your wishes come true. You can be sure that you will when the time is right, your desires will manifest. This is the Law of Least Effort.

To implement the Law of Karma, we Deepak Chopra recommends the following steps:

1) I will practice Acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances and events as they happen. " I know that this moment is as it should be, because the entire universe is as it should be. Not fight against the entire universe fighting this time. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are now, not as I want them to be.

2) Having accepted things as they are, take responsibility for my situation and all the events I see as problems. Is to assume my responsibility means not blaming anything or anyone for my situation (this includes myself I @). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and to be alert to the opportunity allows me to take this moment and transform it into a higher profit.

3) Today my awareness will remain vulnerable. Give up the need to defend my point of view. I will not feel the need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. @ I remain open to all points of view and I will stick to any of them.

This law is closely related to the previous EP, number 50, "Welcome to the World, Welcome to Life!" So I'm not going to expand on my comments, well that is already pretty long and I will not abuse your time .

I just want to stay with the ideas of acceptance, responsibility and vulnerability, so that you present at all times.

The next law is number 5, Law of Intention and Desire.

For now I say goodbye with a hug, until the next and bon voyage!
