What Is A Tape Up Fade

Ep 71: The Four Agreements - A Toltec Wisdom Book - The Smoking Mirror

time ago we had a series where we reviewed and analyzed one by one the laws of the book of Deepak Chopra, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, and was a series was very well received by you. There many interesting books and usually do not have much time, so I guess that was the reason it was well received. So in this mission of making life easier for you and also share things I find that I serve me, let's do a series on the book "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz, a book Toltec Wisdom. The scheme will be similar to that used for the other book, that is, this first episode will be an introduction and then we'll do that for an episode or more per chapter of the book (which is 9) and finally, if warranted, do one of conclusions. One of the episodes of the week will be about the book and one other item free to maintain variety. I hope you look good.
Well, for those who have not heard of them, the Toltecs are the pre-Columbian Indians who inhabited the central and northern Mexico. I will not go into much detail, because there is enough controversy over this town and certainly many of the auditors know better the details of this culture, but I want to focus, is in the book. If someone wants to make some clarification, please ask them to do so in the blog rather than by direct mail to me, because that way, is available for all to see.

The book also part with an explanation of who the Toltecs, and here we go:
thousands of years ago the Toltec were known throughout southern Mexico as "women and men of knowledge." Anthropologists have defined the Toltec as a nation or a race, but in fact, were scientists and artists who formed a partnership to study and conserve the spiritual knowledge and practices of their ancestors. They formed a community of teachers ( naguales) and students at Teotihuacan, the city of pyramids on the outskirts of City Mexico, known as the place where "man becomes God."
Over the millennia the naguales were forced to hide their ancestral wisdom and maintain its existence a secret. The European conquest, coupled with an aggressive personal misuse of power by some learners, it became necessary to protect the knowledge of those who were not prepared to use it wisely or who have been using it maliciously for personal gain.
Fortunately, the esoteric Toltec knowledge was preserved and transmitted from one generation to another by different lineages of naguals. Although he remained hidden in secrecy for hundreds of years, ancient prophecies foretold would come when it would be necessary to return the wisdom to people. Now, don Miguel Ruiz, a nagual the lineage of the Warriors Eagle, has been led to disclose the powerful teachings of the Toltecs.
Toltec knowledge arises from the same essential unity of truth which they leave all the sacred esoteric traditions the world. Although not a religion, respect for all spiritual teachers who have taught in the earth, and embraces the spirit though, is more accurate to describe it as a way of life that is distinguished by its easy access to happiness and love.
Now for the introduction: The Smoking Mirror
Three thousand years ago there was a human being like you and I, who lived near a city surrounded by mountains. This man studying to become a shaman to learn the knowledge of their ancestors, but was not totally agree with everything he learned. In his heart he felt that there must be something else.

One day, while sleeping in a cave, he dreamed he saw his own body sleeping. He left the cave to a full moon night. The sky was clear and saw an infinity of stars. Then, something happened inside that changed his life forever. He looked at his hands, felt his body and heard his own voice saying, "I am made of light, I am made of stars."
looked at the sky again and realized that there are stars that create light, but it is light that creates the stars. "Everything is made of light," he said, and the middle space is not empty. "And he knew that all that exists is a living, and that light is the messenger of life, because it is alive and contains all information.
then realized that, although made of stars, he was not these stars. "I'm in the midst of the Stars" he thought. So he called the stars the tonal and light among the stars was the nagual, and knew that creating the harmony and the space between them is Life Or try . Without Life, tonal and the nagual not exist. Life is the strength of the absolute, supreme, the Creator of all things.
This is what he found: all that exists is a manifestation of the living being we call God, all things are God. And it came to the conclusion that human perception is only light perception, light. He also realized that the art is a mirror-all a mirror that reflects light and creates images of the light-and the world of illusion, the Sleep is just as smoke that prevents us from seeing what really are. "What we really are is pure love, pure light," he said.
This discovery changed his life. Once we knew what really was, looked around and saw other humans and the rest of nature, and what he saw astonished him. He saw himself in all things in every human being, every animal, every tree, water, rain, clouds, on Earth ... And he saw that Life mixed the tonal and the nagual of ways to create millions of manifestations of Life.
At that moment I understood everything. He felt his heart was filled with excited and peace. Was eager to reveal to his people what he had discovered. But there were no words to explain. He tried to describe to others, but did not understand. They saw that he had changed, that something very beautiful radiated from his eyes and his voice. They found that it did not issue judgments on anything or anyone. And did not look like anyone.

He will understand very well at all, but nobody understood him. Believed was an incarnation of God, to hear him, he smiled and said, "Yes. I am God. But you also are. " We are all equal. Are images light. We are God. " But people still do not understand.
had discovered it was a mirror to the other, a mirror in which he could see himself. "Each is a mirror," he said. It looked at all, but no one saw himself in it. And he knew that everybody was dreaming but being aware of it, without knowing what they were. They could see themselves in it because there was a wall of fog or smoke between the mirrors. And that wall of fog was built by the interpretation of images of light: the Dream humans.
Then she knew that soon forget everything I had learned. I wanted to remember all the visions she had, so I decided to call himself "Smoking Mirror" to always remember that matter is a mirror and the smoke in between is what prevents us from knowing what we are. He said: "I'm Smoking Mirror because I see all of you, but we do not recognize each other by smoke between us. That smoke is Dream, and the mirror is you, the dreamer. "
Well, we reached the end of this first part of the series that just started on the book The Four Agreements Don Miguel Ruiz. I hope you liked it and stay with the anxiety of being in the other, in everything around them. To me that was good processor, I try to see me in all others, feel that we are the same. This has helped me in many ways, for example, argue or get angry with someone and remember that I am he or she, maybe on occasion I could have done or said the same thing, costs much more to follow me angry. I think we actually are all one. The joy and sorrow of other tb is my joy and sorrow, and my desire is to bring welfare and happiness for others, and thus generate happiness and welfare to me. To give to others that I want, so I receive.
